February 13, 2006 Special meeting minutes

     The special meeting of the Ward County Commission was called to order by Chairman Gruenberg at 4:00 p.m. with Commissioners Romine, Watne and Erickson present.  Also present were Auditor/Treasurer Devra Smestad, and State’s Attorney John Van Grinsven.

Chairman Gruenberg informed the audience that the meeting was to authorize the Chairman to sign the Tri-Party/Joint Powers Agreement for new seating at the All Seasons Arena.

     Van Grinsven and North Dakota State Fair Association Attorney Pete Hankla briefly appeared in regards to changes made to the Tri-Party/Joint Powers Agreement. Moved by Comm. Romine, seconded by Comm. Watne to authorize the Chairman to sign the Tri-Party/Joint Powers Agreement for seating at the All Seasons Arena. Roll call: all present voted yes; motion carried.

     At 4:05 p.m. with no further business, it was moved by Comm. Romine, seconded by Comm. Watne to adjourn the meeting.
