April 17, 2008 Special Meeting

A special meeting of the Ward County Commissioners was called to order by Chairman Erickson at 10:00 a.m. with Comm. Fjeldahl, Watne and Lee present. Also present were Auditor/Treasurer Devra Smestad and Engineer Dana Larsen.         

 

Smestad presented the Board with information on obtaining Bond Counsel for the four upcoming paving projects. It was moved by Comm. Fjeldahl, seconded by Comm. Watne to invite bond counsel to the next regular Commission meeting to discuss financing of the upcoming paving projects. Roll call: all present voted yes; motion carried.

 

It was then moved by Comm. Lee, seconded by Comm. Watne to approve a raffle permit application from Dakota Elementary PTA for May 2, 2008 with prizes totaling $250.00. Roll call: all present voted yes; motion carried.

 

With no further business, it was moved by Comm. Lee to adjourn. With all present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at 10:08 a.m.
