June 10, 2009 Farm to Market hearing minutes

At 3:05 p.m. the Farm to Market hearing was opened by Chairman Christianson, with Comms. Fjeldahl, Gruenberg, Erickson and Nybakken present.  Also present were County Engineer Dana Larsen, and Road Supervisor Rick Melchert.

 

D. Larsen briefly explained the current year’s projects and the projects scheduled for the next five years.

 

Carey Larson from Ryder questioned paving on CR 22A and was informed that if it wasn’t a federal aid route it would have to paid using general funds.

 

Harold Wald from Norwich appeared to discuss plans for County Road 23 from US Hwy 2 to Sawyer.

 

A brief discussion was held on lowering the speed limits on county roads.

 

At 3:34 p.m. the hearing was closed.
