Meeting Summary – Farm to Market Road Program

April 22, 2010

 

At 3:00 p.m. the Farm to Market hearing was opened by Chairman Christianson, with Comms. Fjeldahl, Erickson and Nybakken present.  Also present were County Engineer Dana Larsen and Road Supervisor Rick Melchert.

 

D. Larsen briefly explained the current year’s projects and the projects scheduled for the next five years.  He noted that a letter had been received from Keith and Brenda Vollmer of Norwich regarding the paving of County Road 23 from US Highway 2 to Sawyer.

 

Harold Wald and Helen Thom, both from Norwich, appeared to discuss plans for County Road 23 from US Hwy 2 to Sawyer.

Richard Pederson from Minot appeared to comment on County Road 18.  Although it is not a Farm to Market road, there is a steep hill which should be re-graded.  Chairman Christianson requested this be put on the Highway Committee agenda for discussion.

 

At 4:05 p.m. the hearing was closed.
