Minutes of the Board of Ward County Commissioners

Special Meeting

July 15, 2010

 

A special meeting of the Ward County Commission was called to order by Chairman Christianson at 9:00 a.m. with Comms. Fjeldahl, Gruenberg, Erickson & Nybakken present.  Also present were Don Davidson of DLA Architects and Byron Lindbo of River of Life Church.     

 

With no additions or corrections to the agenda, it was moved by Comm. Fjeldahl, seconded by Comm. Erickson to approve an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement from DLA Architects for services regarding Ward County office space and renovation of the Ward County Courthouse and Jail facilities.  Roll call: all voted yes; motion carried.   

 

The Board then discussed a space analysis and assessment compiled by Davidson on the River of Life Building and the Big M Building.  Davidson will also evaluate the Trinity-St. Joseph’s Building and present his findings at the next meeting.  The assessment also included correspondence from Prairie Engineering PC regarding mechanical and electrical systems in the Medical Arts Clinic, Trinity-St. Joseph’s North Wing, Big M Building & Oppen Center or River of Life Church. 

 

The next meeting will be Friday, August 6 at 9:00 a.m. in the Ward County Courthouse. 

 

At 9:55 a.m., with no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
