Minutes of the Board of Ward County Commissioners

October 19, 2012

 

      The special meeting of the Ward County Commission was called to order by Chairman Fjeldahl at 10:00 a.m. with Comms. Gruenberg, Christianson, Erickson, and Nybakken present.  Also present was Human Resources Coordinator Colleen Houmann.

 

      Human Resources Coordinator Colleen Houmann appeared. She stated that Susan Weston has declined the position as Tax Equalization Director and is requesting from the Commission another recommendation.

 

      After much discussion, the Commission narrowed the decision to two individuals. Moved by Comm. Christianson, seconded by Comm. Nybakken to offer Seth Hagen the position as Tax Equalization Director, at the salary of $56,173 annually, with the understanding that he may be eligible for a salary adjustment after the 180 day evaluation. Roll call: all voted yes; motion carried.

 

      Before adjourning the meeting, the Commission offered the job to Mr. Hagen and he accepted.

 

      At 10:27 a.m., the meeting was adjourned.
