Minutes of the Board of Ward County Commissioners

September 20, 2012

 

The special building space need meeting of the Ward County Commission was called to order by Chairman Fjeldahl at 9:03 am with Comms. Erickson and Nybakken present. Also present were States Attorney Roza Larson, Architect Don Davison, Highway Engineer Dana Larsen and Auditor/Treasurer Devra Smestad. Committee members present were Molla Romine, Bruce Walker, Orlin Backes and Al Hanson.

 

Architect Don Davison appeared and introduced Mark Lugatis of BWBR of St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Lugatis was hired by Don Davison to provide direction regarding the Ward County Jail addition and remodel. Mr. Lugatis reviewed the three dimensional purposed floor plans for the jail. 

 

Davison reviewed the three dimensional purposed floor plans for the new building and remodel of the current court house. 

 

Discussion was held on how to promote this to the public and what information could be provided to the Citizens Committee as a talking tool. 

 

At 10:34 a.m., the meeting was adjourned.
