County Measure #1
 
Shall the Ward County Commission establish a five-member county advisory study committee to study the cooperative and restructuring options available to Ward County according to the provisions of Section 40-01.1-02 of the North Dakota Century Code?
 
Voter approval of this question will permit and may provide for a study, including public hearings with citizen input, and subsequent recommendations, if any, to be made to the Ward County Commission regarding options available for positioning local government with regard to effective, creative, and efficient service in the future, and in a manner suited to the economic, social, geographic, demographic, and other circumstances influencing the needs and resources of local communities in Ward County.
 
A “YES” vote means you want the Ward County Commission to establish a five-member advisory committee.
 
A “NO” vote means you do not want the Ward County Commission to establish a five-member advisory committee.
 
County Measure #2
 
Shall the Ward County Commission establish a five-member county advisory study committee to study the cooperative and restructuring options available to Ward County according to the provisions of Section 40-01.1-02 of the North Dakota Century Code?

A “NO” vote means you do not want the Ward County Commission to establish a five-member advisory committee.
 
County Measure #3
 
Shall the Ward County Commission increase the County Farm to Market tax levy from the current annual maximum of ten mills, to fifteen mills, with authorization to therefore levy a yearly tax commencing in 2010 until 2016, and not to exceed fifteen mills upon the net taxable valuation of all property in the County?  The additional five mill levy increase shall not be subject to the County mill levy limitation, and the proceeds of such taxes to be used for maintaining the program, and to access matching Federal funds for roads included in the program, all in accordance with Section 57-15-06.3 of the North Dakota Century Code.
 
A “Yes” vote means you approve the yearly increase to fifteen mills as summarized in the ballot question immediately above.
 
A “No” vote means you do not approve the yearly increase to fifteen mills as summarized in the ballot question above.
