The purpose of the Planning Commission is to recommend the boundaries of the various county zoning districts and appropriate regulations and restrictions to be established therein.

The Planning Commission, which meets the 3^rd Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Ex-Serviceman's Room of the Ward County Courthouse, welcomes public participation. The agenda will be posted the Friday before the meeting. Click here to view the agenda

Special Use Permits and Variances require a Public Hearing which must be advertised in the newspaper at least 10 days prior to the meeting. These applications should be submitted with adequate time to advertise.
