General Behavior
All members are expected to conduct themselves in a socially acceptable manner at all times.
Hygiene
All members are expected to practice good general hygiene, such as bathing, changing clothes, shaving, and keeping well groomed.
Payments to Employees
Members are not to pay employees or give them gifts to perform services.
Personal Belongings
All clothing must be marked with your name in indelible ink. All personal items brought into the home must be marked. Heating pads and hot water bottles are not permitted without an order from the attending physician.
Automobiles
Residents with an automobile at the home must show proof of a paid liability insurance premium and must possess a valid driver’s license. Residents are assigned a parking spot in the resident parking lot.
Work Program
Residents interested in employment at the home are found jobs for which they are paid minimum wage and it is implemented in their care plan. They may be employed in dietary, laundry, maintenance, housekeeping, and other departments where work is available.
Discharge
The home cannot hold you against your will. Should you wish to be discharged, every effort will be made to contact your guardian or representative family member before you are discharged. Your social worker will assist you with discharge plans. Documentation of such discharges will be recorded in your medical record.
